you need to regas your vapo to get better temps.

I currently have the coldest PE in existance, yes you do need to change the gas... PM Gray Mole "the Vapo guy" for advice, as mine was rebuilt by him and was hard to tune for load.
how about changing the compressor?

my friend gave me his vapo SE for mods. After some wild ideas we decided to do completly new unit with vapo condensor, rest is good for northbridge cooling.
But if vapo PE is built on bd50f and U are using AMD it should be able to regas and maybe evap change.
but the best way to make vapo colder is to sold it and buy custom built unit ;)

Well it IS a BD-50f, and there's a couple of good options for regassing.
one, 290. Good for about -15 or so with a standard amd 150w or so full load.
two, 404a. NOT easy and you need a good psu to run it right. However it can give you more like -22 or so with amd 150w or so full load.
and the last option for the new evap head I'm pretty sure I'll be testing out on Melted's Vapo pretty soon too :D cos he wants it, and I'd love to see how cold a VapoPE could really go :woot:

ive got an ss from dimas and an evap I made myself.

And only 380W psu

Nice, you could easily use that evap on your PE, you just need to redo the captube for it normally. The PE uses a cap in tube setup and it's just easier to redo and set it for the load that you need.
Oh, and for unmodded, I find about -5ish is normal for 150w on a PE, so about 20-25c or so cpu temp or a touch higher. That's only if you can get it to clock quite that high, which you might not with those temps, but you would still get a decent overclock on it :)

Do u say +20 to + 25 C? I was hoping for 0 to -20. unmodded

well so you've got vapo PE and new evap. you can regas vapo and change evap but i wouldn't be satisfied with those temps. another idea is to get even used compressor and put it into that system. used nl11f in good condition cost 50-75 euros here.
my 2 cents ;)
btw i'm thinking about making a small beer cooler with bd35f :P

oh sorry it should be "here in poland", no link there. And if you dont want to buy used compressor - brand new aspera ne2134gk cost 100euro in shop where i buy.
nl11f cost about 180 euro here for a new one. but just found an fr7,5a used. can that be used in an vapo pe?

0 to -20? Not on a 12v vapo, not unmodded. You'll be lucky to get that for your core temp modded.
Considering that when an evap is at -45 or so, the core temp is about -10 or so under load, that's just asking for too much from a 12v vapo.
I'm just going by Charlie's results. I think he was around 0 to 5c idle on his venice, and 20 - 25c load temps at around the 3.1ghz and 1.6ish vcore range.
yeah if you want a lot colder you need a lot more compressor power. Or just don't overclock or overvolt the cpu and it will run pretty cold ;)
You still get decent clocks from an old vapo and I think that Charlie really proved that with his Venice.

I put a GP12FB compressor onto a vapoPE once, and it ran -50 no load fully charged on 402a. Never got a chance to load test it, but would likely have been -30 to -35ish I think as the evap isn't the greatest.
You can put whatever compressor you like, but the FR7.5 I think would be pretty good on there.

yes sure but it wont give you the same effects as nl11f. it is louder too.
i've made ss on similar one

temps are on r290 but unit is already charged with r507

Can you run the same oil with both R507 and R290??

Leverpospade... yes.. R507 needs POE oil and R290 works with POE and mineral

r507 dont needs poe oil but carry only poe oil and that means that you can run it with mineral with small r290 addition
