940 looks like the sweet spot imo... get that FSB up to 250 and bob's your fathers brother :)

I agree. Maybe when the prices will go down i'll upgrade my 920 to a 940... ;)

Meh, Check out AMD's Processors as follows.

AMD Thin & Light Sempron 2600+, 2800+, 3000+, 3100+ all for 89US.

AMD Turion ML 28, 30, 32 all for 145US.

AMD Turion MT 28, 30 for 150US.

AMD Opteron 844, 846, 848 all for 698US.

AMD Opteron 244, 246 all for 163US.

It's probably because Intel doesn't wish to officially have a Pentium D processor below 209US until Conroe hits... and doesn't wish to officially discontinue it either.

I luv the 3.6ghz chips......got a killer deal on a 660 which I couldn't resist and experimenting with it, so far: 4.23ghz (http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e211/Nasgul04/31C4.png) on AIR with stock Vcore. Next stop: Water!.
