Am I mistaken or are you using k probes and have your meter set for T probes???

It looks like a T in the display and these looks like K types. Blue is T and yellow is K IIRC.

A very pleasant work, a good temp. It hurts that it cannot get that gas. If not, without a doubt it would put it ;)

Could you take a picture of the other side of the condenser so we can see the tubing.

Looks nice;)

You might want to look into that.:D

I think it is fine, but -68c is too low, check you thermometer please, see that the display is showing T instead of K

I see -6hg lowside, it will not achieve -68c. I may be mistaken but with that pressure and 402 I see higher temp normally

loaded temps are a much better reference

R402
-67,990 T [°C]
-0.68 P [bar]

R507 at the same temp is also about ~-0.71 bar

I have a question...

Does running the system with a really low preassure result in really low temps without load, but really bad temps when under load...due to the heat capacity and load bearing capability of the specific gas?

Thanks

Blaster

low pressure => low mass flow => low heat transfer

higher the load the higher heat transfer u need...

Ok, -46.3 full load is more realistic and not bad (is under load isn't it?)

That's a typical error that software temp programs will show when you have sub-zero cooling.... that's why he has the meter, it's a lot more accurate.

that cpu temp depends heavily on exact cpu, mobo, etc. Only time I use that for reference really is if all my setup is same other than cooling unit to get an idea which setup is cooling better.

1.72v bios vcore = 1.67 real vcore

a 3.5ghz opty @ full load gives -41C is very good ! :toast:
at this heat load i would expect around 0 temps... so +5C cpu temp is ok.

whats your bios temp ? and idle temp ? (cpu)

great setup !

LittleDevil

bios temps -18... idle on metter -48
