I have purchased two sticks of 512mb Gigaram Mach1000 Pc3700 from a person who bought it from the reviewer at insanetek. Both of them were able to run this memory at 280mhz with 2.5:3:3:7 timings. So my question is how? I thought it was my board b4 because i had a asrock 939 dual but i just bought a dfi nf4-d and it still doesn't want to load into windows or even memtest at 260 or higher. I have to run it at 240mhz because it gets errors even w/ 250mhz. So now i'm really confused. Even after spending another 80 on another board, i get almost no results... I tried tweaking my settings exactly to the original reviewer's on insanetek ; CTKP on [H]. But it just won't work. Any ideas?

BTW these chips are TCCD 507

My first question is are you sure it isn't your CPU? and show us a full set of specs for mobo, CPU and Ram

I think you should see if you could borrow a heftier PSU and get some Dry ICE

wat does DI have to do w/ my mem though? And isn't my psu just good for what i'm running which is almost bare nothing, one cdrom, pci-e gfx card, and like 3 fans?

To be completely honest when you are pushing the limits of your CPU you don't need anything other the mobo, ram, cpu, PSU, hard drive and the lowest power PCI card you can get...
THe Dry ICe is to make sure that CPU temps are not limiting your overclock and the Heftier PSU is to make sure that slightly Dirty Voltage isn't screwing up your overclock.. get the latest Bios just incase...

alright heres a little update. I tried changing the htt-link multi to 3x and i switched memory slots to 2 and 4 (orange ones) and now i can load into windows w/ 270mhz. It doesn't make any sense! BUT WHO CARES its loading into windows now, although with minor problems like random BSOD but still!!!! Gonna try priming right now.
