When playin CS:S and DoD:S, sometimes my mouse and keyboard lag.
I have a Logitech Media Keyboard and Logitech MX1000 Mouse.
I'd be playing CS and I'd let go of the W key to stop walking and I'd keep walking, like I was stilll holding the W key down. When this was happening none of the other key's were responsive, nor was the mouse.
I searched on google for about an hour and found out it was ATiTool!
So, sure enough, I turned ATi Tool off and fired up CS:S... and no more lag!
If you are experiencing keyboard/mouse lag in games, close ATi tool and see if it works! My friend, who recently just got an X850 Pro AGP started having this problem too. I told him to set ATi Tool to load profile and close when windows starts up, and restart. Then he started up DoD:S, and sure enough, lag gone.
Now I have it set to apply the profile and exit when starting up.
Just a little tip. Hope it fixes your problem if u have it. :)
