I've got a problem because i can't get with fsb past 180. My CPU is stable to FSB 179-180 but at 184 don't boot at all. Also it's performance is rather low. How to take FSB above 180? I tried 200+ and don't boot atall. Clockgen tried too - no effect....

But also memory performance is verylow. At FSB 180 i got only 3400 read / 940 write (i915 Dual channel). Memories are kingston Value ram runs at 180 @ 2,5-3-3-6. I also enable hyperpath 2 in bios - no effect

How to incerase it's performance? any FSB tricks?

First of all:
Most(if not all) Celeron M's will noe pass FSB170, so 180'ish is something to appreciate actually.
Secondly:
i915p is a "bad" chipset performancewise..

Your results (SPi1M and mem bandwith) is normal for your setup.
Accept it.. It runs as quick as a P4E@3.4Ghz or A64@2.4 for a fraction of the price (CPU).
If you want more... buy a Pentium M.. :)

Is't my CPU limit or rather CT-479 limit ? I can't belive that 180 is stable - and 183 don't boot at all... It seems to be CT-479 issue. But how to fix it? Maybe any pinmod? ;)

Doubt it all the Celeron M's have problems around that fsb, only way around it is to buy a Dothan.

Although i think hipro was talking about some good mods that may help

Vcca mod in CT479 can help a lot
(220MHz+ fsb on celeron M in thread CT mod)

Yes I've seen it.. and that CPU is now dead.. :)
Interesting experiment though..
