:D Have the chance to get one for a friend of mine - 2nd hand, fine condition and not DOA.

So I wonder how much to pay for it...............

I voted $2-300 but I live in rip-off Britain, so I`m used to paying more. I`d probably use it for a GPU though, unless I could get a regas on it?

:)

Considering its 2 year old technology, and it cost roughly $550 (give or take $50) then....dont budge on any figure above $200-300.

I would wager evap temps of -15 to -20C or so at 180-200W...but I could be wrong. The unit should hit -40C to -50C with no load.

You would get about the same performance from a new OCZ unit for that price range...I hope.

:fact:

i voted no more then 200$, because i wouldnt want to buy a pre-built system so imo its fair :P

One advantage is if you ever want to upgrade, it has great base to start from unlike ocz unit does. Well actually, you probably end up spending same between replacing compressor vs replacing evap, suction...I guess lol.

It's fine to start and with a decent regas and some nice fans on the condenser you can start getting -40C loaded temps.

I still wouldn't go over 300$ for it.
