Hey i am building a new system and i need some help. First off it is for heavy gaming and my motherboard is a DFI SLI EXPERT. I need to know which cpu/ram combo is the best. So for the cpu a Opteron 170, and with this either Muchkin Redline ddr500 2GB kit or OCZ Platinum EB DDR 500 2GB kit. Second option, Oteron 175, with either G.Skill F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ kit or Corsair TWINX2048-4000PT. Now for the cpu's, it seems that the Opteron 170 have high clocking steppings, as fo the Opteron 175 just has the advantage of a higher multiplier, correct me if i am wrong. I need to know which will clock to the max, becuase i plan on phase-change cooling them in the near future. Same goes for the ram. i would greatly appriciate numbers in terms of cpu oc's, ram oc's, ram timmings, and everyone's opinion on the best combo. just pretend that money is not an issue as long as we are only talking about the parts that i mentioned. Thanks a Million!!!!!!:) :)

Might want to stick with none UCCC stuff if you want to use it with Expert. As for CPU, seems like there are more 170s getting better results than 175s, although if you want one that clocks well and has no cold bug, well, just keep your fingers crossed.

my vote is for the 170.. they both have the same max anyways
and some UCCC because I don't think you like your Ram dying after a month or two
and UCCC gets 250mhz easy.. 270mhz isn't that uncommon
