Alright, I finished brazing my evap, and let me tell you, brazing on the ground covered in gravel is hard. I have nowhere else to do it but I got it done decently. Anyhow, on to the point. I got another condensor as the old one had a few leaks, and I was wondering, how would I clean it. Basically, it's been sitting outside for a year in a fridge, and the fins are full of gunk. Is there any home cleaning chemicals that I would probably have that I can use (bleach, toilet bowl cleaner, etc.) or am I stuck using a cloth and brazing rod to clean it out? Thanks.

Compressed air?
Water?

Just cap off the ends to avoid contaminating the pipes.

Would CLR be safe to use?

Nope. Only the gravel on the ground outside. Every workbench we have is wood, so no good for brazing. I'm hoping I can get some sheet metal to fab a bit of an evap table soon.

wow... ya you need to get something set up there bro.

Just get some strong, but cheap sheeting of metal, and lay it down like a table

Thats what i have done for my little workshop :)

Just get anvil and braze on top of anvil... I do mine on top of some cheap vises. Works fine for me.
