Hello, I am building a PC with these specs:

Biostar TForce 6100 mobo
120GB Seagate 7200rpm SATA hdd
lite-on optical drive
2x512mb ddr400 g.skill valueram
radeon x1300pro
opteron 146

Would this power supply be enough to power it:

It's pretty much the best microATX power supply I could find on newegg? Is it enough? I read somewhere that Fortron Source under rates their power supplys, and that you can add about 30% to their actual rating, but is that still true with a cheap psu? I do plan on overclocking the CPU to 2.6GHz. So is this good enough?

If ALL you do is overclock and CPU and you don't have a lot of extra stuff (which it seems like you won't, given the specs and that this is going to be an mATX rig) then it SHOULD be ADEQUATE. :stick:

If you're stuck on mATX and that's the best you can get, just buy it and see how far you go. :toast:

EDIT: Look at this:

Two dinky little 12V rails... 8A and 14.5A...

Well thats 22.5a, better than any other of the mATX PSUs. Well I ordered everything now so I hope its OK. And if that "add 30%" thing is true, then it would be 29.25a.

Check out the Enermax Liberty 500 ... Monarch has it for $83.99 after rebate and it is a great psu for now and the future

God d*mn! This sort of thing always happens to me! I was just reading through the reviews of the MicroATX case I got, and as it turns out, it dosn't take mATX PSU's! It only takes standard ATX PSU's! This sucks, I always get screwed like this! This is the PSU I just ordered now:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104901
Now I have two PSU's on the way, I will have to send the mATX one back. On a side note, 34a on the +12v rails for $29.99 isn't such a bad deal... So in the end I am getting a better deal I guess. Still, there is that stupid 15% restocking fee...

EDIT:
Also just learned from the reviews that the case dosn't come with any fans. I do have some laying around that I can use, but all I can say is just wow. I was considering another case that looked pretty good, came with a 400w 24 pin PSU, and the case had fans, all for $40. Mabey I should have gotten that. Oh well, to late to cancel the order now. It was probably a sh*tty psu anyway...
