Opteron 146 CABYE 0540 FPAW... results to come soon pending my gfx card:-). Ahhh finally A64. Bye bye Socket A!

I'm hoping for 3GHz on air...;)

Thread Update: 2-13-06

Well I got 3.05GHz (338x10) with a 3:4 divider. It wont go any higher, even with 1.6+ vcore. Temperatures are load temps by the way. Idle temps are 33/32/35 ;). I'd say AMD's new stock cooler is pretty good! I just need to volt mod this 6600GT...the graphics are definitly holding me back.

Thread Updated

Are there any memory settings you think I should change?

I'll post some pics of the system once I get my ftp server info back (lost it in reformat).

I would go with TCCD and DDR600 at looser timings rather than BH-5 and tight timings

The only thing is TCCD costs money...I already have BH-5 from the NF2 days.

Well someone could always donate a stick of TCCD for you

Thats funny. I got the exact same stepping.

Shame it doesnt do a hair over 2.95 independent of volts.
