Hi everyone,

Looks like all the people are talking about cooling their Dothan with something else than the wimpy Asus fan, but noone actually shows how.
For example I'm scratching my head after paying 30EUR for a Silent Tower that will never work out of the box with CT479 unless I put some holes in the bloody adapter.
So far we know that CNPS7000 works and the Sonic Tower may work (but until now it is a legend not shown to the public :D).
Please put your pics here with what you managed to do with your Dotties.

I am using this on my northwood+80mm tornado and very pleased with it (25C idle 43 Load) but I don't know if it will work... or if it does work, would it be too heavy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835106606

I am still waiting for my chip to arrive... a real bargain coming on thursday, I got a 730 for $45 shipped on ebay
talk about a steal... :)

I will post pics as soon as I can (if successful)

I had either TT BT or dice container. BT fits very good if I put H-shape plate a bit higher (using square metal plate for example).

As regards to the Sonic Tower not fitting, I asked Five-Seven and he told me it fits without any mods ... you just have to bend the power plug a bit and it would fit

Hi everyone,

So far we know that CNPS7000 works and the Sonic Tower may work (but until Dotties.

I have that exact same cooler and I can't get it all the way down to the cpu, it just dangles about 1cm above it

i tried putting the supporting clips the other way but they touch the CT479 and I don't wanna break it...
