Well fist off, i plan on using this small compressor wich was previously used with R12, i have 45Kg's of pure propane, wich i plan on using in it for my single stage.
but for the record, id like to know what the compressor specs are but its hard to tell with a bit of the label missing
Take a look

As you can see a little bit of the sticker is missing... that picture is old but the compressor is no different now.
And now for the condensor.
I have a choice between 400W and 3000W. id like to know what one of you guys would reccomend for my single stage, i am guessing i dont need a big one for this... but maybe one that has a bit of beef for future purposes? :)
obviously they are not free! :)

mmmm i can get one rated at 470W 185x185x30 for £19 at hotfrost... Hard choice
EDIT: also a 670W for the same price.. just a little bigger 215x214x30
Maybe i might get one of those then i wont need to buy a much bigger one for a real nice DD when i get onto the project after this

On the topic of hotfrost: I emailed then a few days ago and they never got back to me .. So they are either slow or just dont care about sales to people who aren't a massive business ? How are you ment to order from them anyway ? Just email them or something ?
Anyhow, if nobody from have actually ordered stuff from there yet, then do we know if they can be trusted ? .. Their site is .. Umm .. 'Unprofessional' to say the least.

If you don't need the small size, go for the bigger one. It'll work better.

They wouldn't happen to be the LU-VE STVF range of condensors would they?

They are almost identical to the STVF range, you can check them both out here http://www.luve.it/cataloghi/STN-STFT-STVF.pdf. I sell the STVF range here in australia, so if anyone over this side of the globe needs one, they come with 240v fan and shroud and are very efficent. I'm going to post a big build with one soon.
