Very nice job!!:) I like it - how is the cpev working?

It works fine ;) :D ...Just put the refrigerant till the valve isn't hissing at all - then Yoo can tune the sucton pressure between eg. -0.8 bar to 1.0 bar or more :p: . Nice toy .
But somethimes there are problems with POE oil and CPEV ..it just freeze and the tunning won't work ..so I must change the filter ;) . I have second unit with mineral oil and same CPEV - all works fine.
PS. Of course the paper tapes, are just a secure for paint in building time :)

Have got to love it (in some very insane way) :D It's a very fine unit, thought I would have prefered another color - It hurts my eyes to look at it ;)
What are the temp loaded and unloaded??

I must change the filter and put a new R507 portion - should be -40 to -45*c load :)

Did you purge while brazing? I see some oxidation inside the pipe!

yes
@star882 : yes I haven't purged the SLHX when I have brazed it ...the pipe inside sure have some oxides but only in some cm ..maybe 5 cm . So it won't be a problem for sure .
@SustaiN : THX :D

both your filter and condenser are huge...
using twice smaller condenser you wouldnt loose anything but a start up time would be less

hehe I really want to have a smaller condensers ..but in Poland now I can't get anything smaller

that sucks...
how about using a smaller filter?

A larger condenser (within reason) can't hurt, and it can provide more cooling. With all the fans, you also get redundancy; if one fan fails, it will still work.
The desuperheater is definately extra, although it'll make a good vibration damper.

Big filter in units with CPEV and POE is necessity .

Looks like a great system!! Why dont you guys use better filter dryers?? Like a parker or a Sporlan... They work 100 times better than a spun copper one. The spun copper ones only have a screen, sometimes a little bit of silica gel....
every commercial freezer has one of those, its no use to have a bigger one with this system.

Ahaha... I can hear compressor saying... "Man... give me back some cooled refrigerant... do you want to kill me?".
But definitely excellent unit even for just show off :P
