Hey guys,
recently got myself a sapphire X800GTO2 which by stock has 16 pipes unlocked and a r480 core (I checked). Been clocking it quite alot latelly and it is just getting better and better, from what used to be its max (510/600) I am now hitting 530/610, and still plenty of headroom.

Yesurday, I flashed the card to a X850XT using flashrom16p (modded version of 2.4 afaik), the flash went fine, but when it rebooted the fan on the card didnt turn... :stick: Only way to get it to turn was once in windows, to open up ATItool and force the fan to 100% - If i droppedthe set number below 90% the fan would jsut turn off.

I tried the flash on two bioses; Sapphire and Club3D - both on which gave me this problem. I reflashed back to X800GTO2 again and this is how I am to this moment.

If any of you know any BIOSes which have better fan compatibility, or know a fix for my issue, please help me!

Thanks in advance,
Alec

Perhaps you could hardwire your Fan to a 12v line instead of messing with the Bios...

Yea.... Or like me, connect it to a front-panel fan-controller and have it REALLY do your bidding!;)

My best bet would be that the x800GTO² has a different biosadress for controlling the fan
