View Full Version : Overclock 2x256MB BH5 @306.5MHz 2-2-2-5 new WR??
Optimus Prime
01-31-2006, 03:06 PM
Memory that i used was oldschool Kingston HyperX 2x256MB modules in DC, voltage 4.06v and cooling was extreme air @ -12 :D I wanted to try 290+ MHz SuperPI 1M but my Opteron 146 died(was working at stock voltage) and i am waiting another one for second try.I also have validation at 308Mhz,but file was unfortunately corrupted.
Can someone tell me what is current BH5 maxclok WR??

Give me super pi1m before i break your sucide score :fact:, i almost did super pi1m @301.6mhz so i dont think sucide @ 306 would be so hard to break but maybe i have wrong.

Perhaps all those 2x256 BH-5 sticks that are going so cheaply in the Classifieds/For Sale sections across the web aren't so worthless after all...of course, after getting over 4.0v run through them they won't exactly be long-lived, either. :D

while you're at it try some 1M benches if you want to get even remotely close to Lastviking's RAM

true it's a shocker....should be in low 27s or even high 26s
EXACTLY
It's because of poor alpha timing ... just empty MHz like P4 :D
I thing with TCCD 2,5-3-3-5-1T it is possible to do below 28s ...

Actually, in Spi, the more stable your memory is, the better your time will be ;)
