I've been meaning to put these ballistix on ebay, but in the process of getting a nice screenshot for them to put on the auction listing, I managed 290MHz 2.6v dual 32m pi stable. That really made me rethink the decision, all I did was change the FSB to 290 and volts down to 2.6, CPU multi to 7, and it works great, easy as anything

So basically I'm trying to find out if anyone's had any luck at all with these sticks, ie they haven't died on them yet. I'd hate to spend another week without a PC because I just have to RMA them in the future..

Are they the Z503's? Mine lasted for 3-4 months before dying. NewEgg has just replaced them. I think I was running mine with too many volts (2.85). I reached 285 without much problem at pretty tight timings. I understand the newer ones are better...?

Yes, the newer batch performs better.

@Repoman: Keep your Ballistix. 290 at 2.6V is great. The sudden deaths of the Ballistix seem to be caused by a past bad production batch ;)

Awesome, anyone want to buy some HZ :D

BTW rick fx, that is one hell of a CPU you have  can't wait to see what it does with the chilly1 unit
