I have tried 3 different ATI BIOS mod programs and have problems with them all (RaBit, BiosEdit and RadEdit). Whenever I open the BIOS I want to mod, they either give an error and close or say the BIOS is not an official ATI BIOS. I've DLed the latest revisions and still get same error. Basically, I want to mod the 16 pipe GTO2 BIOS for higher clocks. I tried flashing to an X850XT BIOS, but I get error message from Cat drivers that there is a conflict with the BIOS. I think it is because all x850xt's have WDM, which my card does not seem to have.
Any help is appreciated.

Google search only brought up RaBit-1.5, however, www.radeon2.ru had a RaBit-1.7 which worked. Only problem was I could not extend the core clock past 505 with it, I wanted 540. My card will run 575/600 all day long.

EDIT: After saving the BIOS to 500/550, I then reopened it with the program and could bring it all the way up to 650 if I wanted.

It adjustable like the Vcore and Vdimm on your mobo :woot:

Yes you can change vgpu on the fly, same goes for clocks. But i don't want to change it every reboot or install programs for that. So i need to change it in Bios ;)

lol not bios editor Rod, but by using ATITool. No bios editor out there in public hands works on the x1k series that i have found.

I have an x1800xl, x1800xt, and x1900xt all awaiting a proggie to come out that allows this, but i think that ATI themselves have left memtimings as something only they can touch...and therefore get better scores/performance out of newer drivers...

Yea I get that you do it in atiTool. but ic3m4n2005 was talking about doing it via the BIOS and also adding more adjustments... didn't realize he was looking for one.

At any rate... it's really cool that you can change the vcore without mods!!!! Now... what about Vmem?? :D

Fully adjustable from ATITool as well :D
Ahhhh.... so the days of burning up 600.00 cards due to bad hard mods is all but done for!

Thanks all! I learned a lot today! :D

Rod, he was talking x850, not x1800.

Does anyone know if you can modify a bios for an X800 to increase gpu voltage?

You are in the wrong thread man. Try the BIOS forum instead and make a new thread or search around...
