I have a pair 2x512 BH-5 ram that do 233MHz@3.1v but I was wondering what ram I gould get that would do 250-270MHz 2-2-2-5 T1 around 3.2-3.4V?

hmm, try pushing your mushkin to 3.2-3.4?

It would probably take the most godly pair of 2x512mb BH-5's ever created to be able to run 270mhz @ 3.4V. It's considered quite an accomplishment if a pair can even do 260 @ 3.4V. It take my sticks (which are considered quite good btw) at least 3.68V to be benchable @ 274Mhz. I have a set of Bh5 coming for review that supposedly can do 250 @ 3.2V. Look for some results in the next couple of days.....;)

For some reason they seem not to like over 3.1v. @ 3.2 or higher they become unstable

Your not going to get any Ram on earth to hit 270mhz at 2-2-2-5-T1 :stick:
Your BH5 should be able to reach 250mhz 2-2-2-5 T1
Maybe you just need to put more volts through them or use a better board

try cooling the ram actively. ram doesn't like to be pushed to extreme temps.

270mhz is hard to achive, I thin Ive seen BH5 at 270mhz with 2-2-2-7

Dont think 2-2-2-5 is possible. DUNNO

29x at 2-2-2-5 has been achieved :s

how is 270 so impossible - not frequent, but not too obscure...

i admit , 290 odd would be unbelievable , where it not a world reknowned bencher, with pics etc :)

Here's a little sample of what some utt BH5 can do. I'm not finished testing them yet, but I'd imagine with some REAL voltage, I'll be able to pull off a 1m @ at LEAST 280Mhz.....Check out my review here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=87792)

And here's my Twinmos original BH5 sticks...who said that 270's aren't possible?...lol....

Who thinks 270 2-2-2-5 isn't possible? Completely possible with a pair of good sticks. I have a pair here that will get there with 3.7v....
