If it's the Deluxe model, that would be my guess also...IEEE1394 firewire....but I don't have the board.:D

The white thing is a moboside firewire connector... But shouldn't there be a bracket on the other end of the cable? :)

yup, those appear to be cables for the firewire. the bracket is to the left of the red SATA cables.

Ah ofcourse, I forgot... Asus has seperate cables and cheap brackets with an open PCB :p

I think the reasonaning behind this is that people with front case firewire ports have access! Like me heh

Hm, my case also has front firewire, but it comes with a nice connector to plug directly in the mobo :)
