OK so some of you may know im searching for an Certain stepping X2 dualcore with no coldbug that beats my X2 3800. So I went to the show today and nobody had any dualcores. Luckily I know the retailers well(spent lots of $$$) so they gave me some info as to why. It seems there are reports of Opty's going up in price tommorow well the info i received says that while they go up X2's are going down between $50 and $100 depending on model. This seems to correlate as FX 60 just released forcing lower model price drops. I was also informed that there may be a new flavor in the X2 department but they could not confirm what it was. MY guess? X2 5000 2.6 gig 512kb cache which would mean they are most likely fx's with failed 1m l2.
You should probably see price drops effective everywhere by the end of next week so if your in the market for an X2 waiting a week won't hurt. As for me i have 2 retailers making they're wholesalers scour they're warehouses for a certain stepping week batch cpu. Sometimes dealing with people in person has it's benifits :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This chip has ran 3D at 3450mhz@1.67v
Dual 8m/16m Super Pi's stable at 1.61v at 3400mhz
OEM IHS removed
No cold bug as far as dryice has gone -73c base/evap temp's.

This is the 4800 he had and just sold. I thought it was on a mousespot, not a ss phase.

Heh well i already know what im looking for. I'll let ya know if i find one. For the moment i'll post the stepping that i think is going to do it.

X2 3800, 4200, or 4600
LDBHE 0541 RPMW or lower week(would be better) same stepping with a batch # of 50099 or lower :)

Just for comparison my 3800 X2 has that stepping and ive researched others with almost identical results and its batch 50536.......BTW this is BH-E4 not E6
