Im not so up to date with the new parts that have come out, but my specs have a DFI NF4 SLi-DR with the geforce 6800gt, soundblaster audigy2 platinum, and 2 raptors 74 gb sata raided as you can see in my specs. Thats the last thing I bought. My brother on the other hand, he was runnin an athlon xp 1900 with the abit kr7a-raid motherboard that had been a build of mine a long time ago and it just went down. I figured he needed a psu, ram, and a new vid card, and went and bought all that for christmas and it ended up being a bus that had shorted out on the motherboard, so now I need to get him a new board and processor. Im hoping to get him a good board that is upgradeable(nf4 and socket 939?) and a decent enough processor to run him. Athlon64 would a big improvement from runnin that athlonxp at 1.6ghz I would think. So could anyone please point me in the right direction of what board I could get and what cpu would be good to get with it. He doesnt really need crazy overclockability, just a good stable board thats upgradeable and known for quality. Thanks in advance
