Hey all,
I just built a new system, and every tests out stable stock, prime95, memtest+, and pretty much everything I can throw at it for testing. I can almost certainly rule out overheating as my CPU hasn't even hit 40c nor has my MB temp gotten above 35C
However, in Windows every once in a while I BSOD for no reason at all saying machine check error 0x0000009c (0x00000004 0x8054d5f0 0xb2000000 0x00070F0F). This has happened about 4 times in 2 days. Once while just burning a dvd, once just surfing the internet, once after I had just finished closing out Prime95, and once more I just woke up to the blue screen nothing happening.
Here is my system specs:
AMD X2 4200+ (stock)
2g G.skill ZX 2-3-2-5 @ 2.75v (stock except volt) in the blue slots A1 B1
A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Seasonic S12 600Watt
Creative Labs X-Fi base model
EVGA 7800GTX
WD 160 HDD ide
Maxtor 200 HDD ide
ide dvd burner
Big Typhoon
Windows XP SP2
All drivers are up to date.
Any help, thoughts, suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks :)
