Go for the NF7-S over the A7N8X-Deluxe. Why?

1. The abit is cheaper.
2. Abits bios is better and unlocks 2400 and up tbred B chips without altering the chip in any way. I'm not sure about the other tbred B's that are just hitting the streets (ie 2100 AIUHB). The asus bios sucks when it comes to multipliers. They do this thing where they have two multipliers, something like 6/12, and depending on your chip will pick either the 6 or 12 without the user being able to choose. What ends up happening is that you don't have a choice of multiplier and it can create large gaps between them limiting your FSB choices. Abits is traditional in that its a list with .5 between the values, very nice.
3. Abits board comes with one ide to s-ata adapter. I rather have that then the extra 2 usb ports and extra nic. The abit has 4 usb 2.0 ports and one onboard nic.

Other than those issues, the boards offer about the same features. I have both and can't wait to dump the asus on someone that won't be overclocking.

You may hear about the epox but it doesn't have sata raid and that eliminates it from contention for me.

on the other hand the Asus has the 2 networking ports which if u have a cable modem or dsl connection that connects via the ethernet the Asus would be the way to go, so its pretty much based on what u want, because once asus sorts out the bios issues the 2 boards should pretty much be identical... personally i havent had good experiances with abit but thats just me
