Constant Logging In [Archive] - XtremeSystems Forums

IDK if this is the right place. But, I always have to re-login every so often. I am using IE and Opera. It also gave me the, "1 out of 5 login attempts", and a subsequent 15 minute time limit. Is this normal for a new user?

never heard of that before. i had problems with IE for a while about having to login everytime even if i checked the "remember me" box, i had to do something with cookies to be able to view my university's website, but ive migrated over to firefox, and everything has been working good.

It's kinda strange, I'll login try to post a reply, and I have to login again. I hit refresh a couple of times, then all-is-well again .. And I can reply.

log out, clear your cookies/cache, then log back in.

one reason i ditched opera, it seemed it did that to me on every site.

hmmm happens to me as well with all browsers if i log in using the login window that pops up when im logged out and go to a thread and want to reply directly.

log in and out through the top right login menu in the forum index and check the remember me box and it should work fine :)
