Is it possible to run R@H on P2

Now that d2OL is al finisht,for me that is,i thougt to run R@H on a P2 200mhz with 128mb,or need i more ram.

ehh we're talking 24hrs + per WU to be completed... i think you may want to make it a dedicated DIMES Box or something..

you will probably have the WU go past their designated "Due Date"

If you really want to run it 24/7, dimes is the way to go. It really wont be worth it to run R@H. More ram would help, but it still will be slow as a dog.

It already runs Dimes for about 1month:).

Maybe look for another P2 cpu and dump the MX 200mhz,maybe a 400/500mhz,and abit more ram and maybe i get R@H running;),thats what the say on R@H homepage,min 500mhz cpu and 512mb ram.

Mmm maybe better let it run Dimes and buy a X2 with cheap mobo(biostar) and some ram,becaus thats the best cpu for running R@H isn'it.

that or a dual core opteron.... the opterons are tearing arse through the project....but i think the x2's are better suited for the Overclocking
