50x50 TEC on Apogee?

Anyone know if the base plate will take a 50mm X 50mmm ?

blunt yes but true also. The cooling area of the Apogee block is only 30mm by 30mm so you would get a temperature gradient of the TEC. By the Thomasan effect (pretty sure thats the name for it) it would equalize itself and greatly reduce effeciency.
