Was unable to crunch anything because i was home on 56k for the holidays, but now i'm back in my dorm crunching 24/7 sucking energy like crazy.
My Opteron 148 is a great chip but unfortunately it has a bad coldbug, so right now i'm running it almost stock. One of the guys walked me through the Rosetta setup so it's all configred and it's already run for a good 14 hours or so.
I am looking to replace the 148 with a non-cold bugged chip and hopefully run ~ 3.3 Ghz 24/7. Even with a single stage, my case isn't too loud, and even my roommates have nothing against me running it 24/7.
So i'm here to help, count me into the ranks of The Machine!

they are the Vietnam Soldiers.

Personally, I hope that they can compete with us. I know that Nhenhophach can probably bring the firepower. He's a fun guy, and I know he would be fun competition. I'm ready for some races. :woot:

Absolutely correct..We can't.......yet...:D
what you have to decide is do you want to be with the big guy on the block or enjoy the chase and watch him sweat as he gets run down!

machines are just that: machines..they need to be told what to do!
A soldier can think on his feet, adapt to the situation. Something a machine can never do..One more thing: A machine needs to be plugged into a elec socket. It can't move.. a soldier always can!:D
It's the reason that IBM's Big Blue( or whatever they are calling it now) always lost to Bobby Fischer!:D
Last thought: Your on a plane. Do you want a machine flying it or a human?
And if you want a human, never fly Airbus..The machine can over rule the pilots imput!
