I was searching on google when I found a review of the Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2x1GB PC4000 @ techPowerUp! (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Crucial/Tracer4000/). And they made a nice movie of the Ballistix Tracer with leds in action, click here to download the movie (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Crucial/Tracer4000/images/tracer.AVI).
But WTF? The movie was driving me mad already.
Are the leds always like that or can you turn them off/set them slower? Because I like the bleu leds (nice glow), but the red leds are just annoying. (If they behave like they did in the movie.)

electrical tape works :p:
i also bet you can probably just break em off, but that might be unwise ;)

I agree. If it was blue leds, I wouldn't really mind but the colors are red and green flashing rapidly that can be seen from far away across my room... eww. It's like one of those annoying christmas lights in my case...

Only blue that would be awesome indeed.
Nobody else who has experiences with the Tracers/Leds?

Yup I have em in my rig... Not bad if you don't stare at em, and I can't say I've ever sat and stared at em. They don't bother me too badly.
And the LED's move at different speeds depending on the activity they are receiving, they move sluggishly slow during standards windows operation and folding but they crank right up to speed when playing games and other ram intensive programs.
Overall I don't mind em a bit.

What are you talking about. Set them 280 and watch them peel the paint off of night rider.
