We are getting close to matching the Cows daily production! We also made a nice jump over yesterdays total!
Nice work team! Keep it up and we will get to BBQ the cows AGAIN!
This should teach them to goat us into joining a "real project".

Looks good so far, but we still need more to catch them ;)
Another 100k daily would be nice. The sooner the better.

I switched another 5 DX rigs from D2OL to Rosetta today.
Still have another couple DXs, and 6 P4 rigs to switch.
By end of the month there'll be another 4 DCs, and 40-50(or more) P4 HTs.:D

I need another 24 port switch.:(

Yup, we had a meeting yesterday and decided to add another 12 P4 3.0 HTs to the dealing floor, so that's 30 right there including the original ones. Then there are the 17 P4 3.2 HTs on my half of another floor. We probably have another 40-50 fast PCs in the remaining parts of the office that I can use in the next push. My partner has agreed in principle to run Rosetta on all office rigs, and it's up to me and the EDP manager to bring them on gradually to make sure that office work is not affected.
I can smell the beef.:D

That is SPECTACULAR news!!!!!! It really is important that we have the #1 daily producer in the WW daily on our team! This will really assert our dominance and thrust the XS name out there for all to see! Glad you will get to be that person!

Let the Xs domination begin.....hehe

Hehe,

#1 producer daily on DPAD as well as doing fairly well on OGR25 every day :)
Still, you guys are doing quite well. Time to step it up to the next level though :stick:

p.s. Rod, I've got the host stats working on my dev box... I just had to add a switch to not produce them for all boinc projects as seti just kills them with 700000+ hosts..

OHHHHH yea! That's all the stats needed! Question thugh... why dod the stats only update only every 6hrs... I assume it's because of BOINC or R@H doesn't update you guys but every 6hrs????
 keep PY over at DPAD!!! :D
Correct. At first it was going to be every 24 hours!! I managed to persuade them to do it every 6 hours...
http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=21
My script checks in every hour at http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/stats/, downloads the tables.xml file and checks the value of update_time with what is held in the DB. If it has changed, it will continue on and download the other files and process them :)

You think if XS, Free-DC, and XPC all got together and "signed" something we could get them to change it to every hour???
I doubt it, at least not right now. They are upgrading hardware to take care of the project. The xml export takes quite a bit of cpu I believe and obviously hammers their database. I know the seti xml export takes over 2 hours.
Perhaps when they get their replication in place and working on the dual xeons, dual opterons we could persuade them to go every 4 hours maybe.

I see what you are saying... Wouldn't be so bad if there official stats pages didn't blow :(
Stats.......
That's all standard within the boinc infrastructure. Nothing to do with Rosetta as such....

Ive managed to regain contact with a Dual Xeon 2.8, that had been d2ol, so Ive emptied that (nearly 4000 cands) and put it back on Rosetta again....its was the original rosetta machine you see.

Check the R@H benchmark post or check some computers on Bonics stats site. I found one in a laptop that didn't seem to do too bad, but don't remember what it was off the top of my head.

This one promises to be a bit of a chase, may even be crunching down a few teams before we get there. Some nice tidbits to wash down w/ some NICE VINO (Hic) And I promise not to make heater work then, after Christmas eve (or was it new year's) he had some difficulty after celebrating then  :cord:

Jeff said somewhere that dothans were pretty good in boinc seti (I think). Anyone want to check? All you gotta do is run a benchmark.

It's crunching Rosetta since day 1...Yesterday for some reason it kept receiving "No work from project" for all day, which lost me over 12 crunching hours...
Crunched only 29081 so far :fact:
Last benchmark i run, i got 4760/14290 with it. I know i can push it a little more, but i am having problems with my memory for some reason...It will run 2-2-2-7 but if i try to loosen timings a little so i can add more fsb, it just won't work. cas 2.5 won't even boot with this memory in my current board, go figure...
