do you have MBM5 or ATI tool or somehting open...there are often settings in those types of programs that have a saftey shutoff@ low temps...or coldbug

no nothing is running as sone as it hits 0c it goes to the windoze shutdown screen and shuts down..im stumped

disable all ati services in task manager and start > run > 'services.msc'

im going to have to put a thin shim on the gpu for temp as the delta between idle and load is a lot

the card shim is preventing me from making good contact with the core either i remove the cards shim or add a thin spacer

I think you need to kill the ATI 2 services (hotkey poller)
