giorgioprimo, can you send me the link of that shop via pm?

btw, there are actually few "newbh5" chips capable to compete with yours

You need to tighten those timings. Here's what the best timings for bh5/utt are. You may need to loosen preamble or async latency depending on your memory controller or ram's preference. But otherwise, these are pretty much what you should go for.

I can tell you that in the states that there are NO retailers selling. I had to get all my team mem from someone else that had it shipped here direct the Japan area.. Which is where i belive they are made. Great stuff. Even their TCCD based stuff kicks much arse..

Raise your preamble and see if that gives you more room. And put the tref to 100mhz 1.95us.

A guy on Ebay has been selling a lot of TeamGroup ram lately. here (http://cgi.ebay.com/1GB-512x2-DDR-400-Dual-Channel-Xtreeme-BH5-CL-2-2-2-5_W0QQitemZ6842786433QQcategoryZ74942QQssPageNameZ WDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) is one of his listings.

I bought a set of these sticks from http://www.tankguys.biz/team-xtreem-zeus-2225-bh5utt-pc3200-p-1539.html Monday, had the shipped overnight after reading this thread and the review @ http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=3221&s=1. All I can say is I'm very disapointed. After a 13 hour memtest burn-in of 250mhz 3.6v 5-2-2-2, which resulted in only 19 errors can cannot pass a 32m pi with same settings much less duplicate any of the results found here or vr-zones review. O well I'll put em on ebay & try to get @ least a $100 back out of em. I have 3 corsair kits that can do better. One does 273 @ 3.6v.

Why did you buy the 200 MHz modules and not the 250 MHz modules when you want to run 250 MHz?

Well vr-zone used 200MHz modules in their review & got 270 out of em, giorgioprimo's were pc3200's as well. I figured since they both got 270 out of their's I might be able to as well. They were $127 the pc4000's are $170. I guess I agree with "loc.o", they are pc 3200 for a reason. They still do 250mhz 3.6v but thats nothing spectacular IMO. Also the date on 'em 0604, giorgioprimo's were 0552 & vr zones we 0551. Maybe those are better than this year's.

Many review sticks was handpicked good sticks thats why your pc3200 did not do so well that they did.I did same stupid mistake and buyed pc3200 sticks before i know that they started to sell pc4000 sticks.

Not really I only paid $127.50 for these

and my second set of of 3500's cap out @ 260 for $100. (both bought on ebay) Guess it was too much to hope for to spend under $150 again for these kind of results.

Did the review mention that they bought the modules themself in a random shop?

If not they are usually supplied by the vendor.

Personally, if somebody sent me a kit for review I would spend the money to buy a random identical kit myself and review both.

Thats old bh5 they always clock over 265mhz. The most sticks do 270+ , some bad ex do 265+

So how much volts does it take to reach 265-270+? I've got XMS 3200 LL Pro's that are hard to come by & would hate to fry'em but they will only do 255 or so stable with 3.5v. I'd love to get 272+ stable out of any of my kits (only have one that will do it). Especially the 3500's.

3.7 or 8 should be fine as long as they are cooled.

Exchanged for DDR 500MHz Dual Channel Zeus BH-5 it was not much better. Gonna get rid of em. No more experiements for me gonna stick with my old corsair.
