After loads of tries.... ditching coolbits as it didn't change my clocks correctly :slapass: ... installing the vf700 on my GTX and setting the clocks properly with Rivatunuer I got 9041 on 3DMark05.. :woot:

Maybe I can push something a little more... but since I'm on air I doubt it will get much higher... if I want to keep my temps under control that is... :)

Congrats ;)
Off topic Have you try atitools to set your clocks ?

I've played with it to scan for artifacts... coolbits set my RAM clocks off by 2Mhz... and Rivatuner seemed to work best in my case..

Yes :D for 6800 for example it is the only solution to counter throttle.

NC, you should be able to push your clocks higher. On the stock cooler I was doing 540/1410 w/ load at 76C (during the summer while gaming). I would definitely inspect your zalman's contact because you get higher temps that I did on the stock cooler with lower clocks.

Not meaning, to diss you or anything, but i thought a 7800GTX scored about 9k at stock.

One of the members on cpcff.co.uk has a 7800GT at 8.9k on stock cooling and 9.2k on water

hardly, stock is around 7000-8300.

I got 9200 on my Gainward overclocked GTX, needed 520/1400.

Thats 7800gt with default HS.
I'll try to reach 9.2k on default HS this week.

My Connect 3D X1800XL clocked at 670/670 on air, doing 9600+ on a AMD x2 4600+ clocked to 2,6Ghz,
I can´t go any higher on my crapy 2.0ns memory, if I go higher on the core I get lower points,

I think it´s cpu limit, :)
