Welp, I followed your instructions about which order to install the drivers, etc....

1)Install windows
2)install SP1
3)install DX9
4)install 4in1's
5)install radeon 9700pro drivers



This fixed all my problems and my scores are where they ought to be....

Everyone should follow this outline if you are running a KT333 or KT400 chipset.....

You're very welcome my friend....thats what we're here for is to help those who aren't aware of some of these things. To us it is second nature because we follow these rules for so long, for the new guys on the block these things we take for granted can actually be a saving grace , as we learn the appropriate ropes:)
