View Full Version : 8 pipes, all air, 32.5K 3d01marks
Broke my former personal best (oh sweet Dothan) tonight.
An absolutely PERFECT bench-session!!! I learned sooo much :woot:
Opteron 146
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
1GBLE

I found that my Opteron has its sweetspot around 1.55vcore and that my rather poor-clocking Powercolor X800GT had a little more in it :D
Mem-clocks could be better, 33K coming up :fact:

What card will you be using?
You need 2750+ on the core to beat me if using the same card...

Nice doing there :D
For sure you can tweak your timmings up :)
Off topic :
You asked if idle cycle @ 0 increase stabilty, the answer is no, it may decrease it rather.

Neat result Stryg - and like that cooling solution :D
A biiit weak timmings, but you can enhance that later on, dont thing your mem has any probs with lower TRC, neither a couple of others..
for 3Dbenchies as well as BW benchies, 16 @ idle cycle limit is perfered against 0, but SPI / PiFast 0 = FTW ;)
i use sapphire x800gt AGP, still 8 pipes :)
Bring it on! :D
We could make a small 8 pipe all air race if more wanna join in :)
Im gunning for happydudes 2nd place on the ORB - 33324.
Btw, which runs are related to what components?

Im 400mhz behind ya man, its a dam shame that my gt died before I even volt modded it. 36k+ would of been nothing. Good luck on beating me man you have more then enough. :toast:

I need to do some modding though. My card is absolutely maxed out in the run above...

36k with 3150mhz and 8 pipes?? - Dont think thats possible... - It really requires tweaking skills in order to hit 38k with that speed - with a 16 pipes card..

Why not, 33k at a lowly 2.75ghz with an unmodded card. A high clocked card 36k would be nothing, I am shure If I had voltmodded my card and was able to bench as high as i think I should of been able to. (I was so far from maxed out) 25c max load temp on the card under water. A vmod would of probly gave me 750ish core and a 3+ghz run at 750+ would of easily been 36k. Don't think these cards are that weak just cause there 8pipes.
Keep the scores comin stryg :toast:
