All I can say is that its time to break out the heatercore and the Iwaki. Can you say 4gpm!

Only annoyance is having to rip my system apart to put the X700 in.. And finding the dam thing amidst the garbage in my room.

but with a 2.2ghz Winnie, I managed Score: 9953 for 03 and Score: 3919 for 05. Now I can do 10x292 1:1. 2.5-3-3-6

how much does your card oc? if its oc-s better then u are winner cos card clocks matters:D
also, 128mb X700 would oc much better

and what cooling do you have for vga

Watercooling for the GPU. Will keep the card under 30C loaded. I can manage 573/618. Lets just hope the core keeps its magic.

And yes its a 128mb. I was able to beat all the 256mbers (yes the extra 128mb helps in 05/03) due to the cards crazy high mem clocks. And yes this is 2ns memory.

BTW, the memory is not vmodded either. Speaking of which, I should vmod it and try for 630.

my card was 23C @ full load..
it likes cold so use iced water or open window "mod" if there is cold weather..
my card wont go over 545mhz gpu with ~35c load temp for core..
and also which core u have? XT or regular X700? i have regular but XT oc-s much better
felinusz had XT but he killed the card :D

CanDostum, why did you bring your score down? I tried to get your score for so damn long but never could.. that 1GHZ lower cpu clock and crappy ram might have had something to do with it ;)

Winterwind, Its a pro core. No XT here. I had hoped for the XT, but never got it. I improvised and put butt loads of volts through it. Think I got it up to 1.7v

i know one guy whos X700PRO goes 565/630 and he only gets 9.8k @ 3dmark 2k3 with 2700mhz venice... he has 128mb AGP card
i doubt that AGP is so much slower than PCIe..
its just so damn hard to get decent scores:p:

Without mods and stock air/voltage my X700 pro goes 480/556... I love my card. Decent scores, inexpensive.

Btw, with these settings above I also get 9k in 3DMark 03, so I think something was wrong with his settings. Maybe AA and AF were still on? AGP can't be a limiting factor when using a X700...

yes, its easy to get 9k but try to get 9,8k
its hard to get decent points out of it:p:
my 256mb PRO scores pretty well for its clocks and stuff..

once i compared it with felinusz one, drivers were same, clocks were same and i still got more points than he:banana:

felinusz X700PRO did over 630 for gpu - he had XT core..
XT core is really good overclocker, it oc-s much higher than regular X700 core

tested 3dmark 2k6 aswell but with xxx clocks cos this slideshow sure sux..
anyway, result:

VGA was watercooled with chilled water, idle temp was -12c and full load temp was +1c:woot:
now my records in 2k3, 2k5, 2k6 and they are not maxed out
