hi guys
i was in need of more memory and i thought i would try
4x256
i used:
2x256 mushkin special bh6
2x256 twinmos ch5

i could manage this

ouch thats desperate, and i think that with 4xdimms it has to run 2T above stock, so i would say its not great at all.

Since my Ballistix 2x1024 started to get crazy I had no choice but replace it with a little Mushkin mix... I have 2x256 BH6 + 2x512 Redline UTT CH5 they are full stable at 3.3V 2-2-2-5 2T @ 246MHz which is a little bit slower comparing with 3-3-3-8 1T 280Mhz from Ballistix. I'm happy with this setup running cold and don't showing any more errors. Battlefield 2 runs very nice with 1.5 gigas. If you are unsure about your combination performance check your latency with Everest. Day to day applications should not see a huge impact.

A last thing... You should try more volts on your memory. These BH6 can run easily at 3.3-3.5V if your mobo allows it.
