I'm Entity_Razer (duh), age 18, turning 19 in july.Hobbies are Fishing, computers (servergrade hardware :) ) 3D modeling and airplanes (WW2 era)
I'm studying MCT: Multimedia And Communications technology in Kortrijk Belgium.

The reason I think I'd be good for Rosetta teamcaptain....

Well I don't think I should selfglorify myself but for the sake of the election:
I'm dedicated to the team and to the project. I tend to be very passionate in what I do and am dedicated to what I do. If I start something I tend to finish it. I have no life outside Xs (jk :) ). For the rest.... no real reason. Someone found I was a good canidate so I must be doing something good.
I think i'll leave others to speak on my behalf if they feel like it. If not so be it. May the best man win:)

Ligers do exist, some goof ball in South Carolina has crossed a Lion and a Tiger.... only problem is that, at six months old, it (the Liger) is about twice the size as its mama and papa... I knew watching those stupid nature shows would pay-off :D

I ordered a pc-dl from them on December 27th and i had it on the 30th.
some times zzf does take a while to ship your purchase but the 2 day fedex usually makes up for it.

Glad you ask... after looking at how Boinc is setup I don't see a need to use custom installers... Right off the bat you can install it as a service if you wish. Also with the way Boinc/Rosetta is setup it won't be possible to bundle them "ready to go". So I can't see anything we stand to gain from making custom installers. If you can think of something and know how to make it possible... let me know!

boinc.exe would only change if a major update were rolled out. I don't think Boinc updates auto... I know rosetta does.

That's a relief :) I won't be able to get to these machine for a couple of months so it would be a pain if they were unable to communicate with the server due to an update.

Only rosetta updates. BOINC stays as it is. It could be that a big update is rolled out in like a few months but I'm sure that would not be a mandatory update and the rig will just keep running.

I think at this moment, the team is to small, but once we reach D2OL proportions I reckon that'd be a great idea.... If like 350 men come onto rosetta (D2OL team counted 460) I'm sure some extra people will be needed to run the joint when rod goes away on vacation to the bahamas :D

It won't be long at all till we are at full tilt (All of the active members from D2OL move to R@H)

I also expect some of the inactive D2OL members to fire up R@H as it's new and exciting... and for the same reason I expect to see lots of new members.
