ok I just started playing around with this Program.
tonight I got my XP 2100 to bench on PCmark at 2.78 ghz, with the dual channel DDR and such.
but I have a few questions.

being that I know so little about this program...

why do my harddrive score vary so much?
why do alot of people use windows 98 with PCmark?
what are the tweaks, tips and such for helping PCmark?
do videocard OC's matter, or cas latency?
what does PCmark like more, bandwidth or speed?
how come my CPU is called a Duron, when its a XP 2100?

I have noticed, that setting it to real time, seems to lower hard drive scores, and cas latency doesn't seem to do much so far.
but this is only after about 10 successful test tonight...

I believe I am in the top ten for AMD based computers.
but theres one score there on the pcmark comparision I don't buy.
a XP 2600 at 4.4 ghz one at the top, with 13,500 on the CPU score and such...

but heres my PCmark scores so far.

CPU: 8518 Mem: 6436 HDD: 1066

if you can, would you post your scores?
I would like to see a few other peoples scores.
I saw Opp and gooch from here were in front of me for the AMD based computers, so I guess I am in good company, I just wanna start playing with this program more.

:D

Look @ the memscores. 16 K and above. It's easy 2 cheat than 3DMark.

Edit : No1 memscore is 67 K. :(

PC Mark is very vyer easy to cheat at.

Basically it works on the memory scores by doing timings of how fast data is transfered. Al lthats needed is to alter the size of the files it sends to increase your score.

All FutureMark/Mad Onion benchmark programs are easy to cheat on, all you to do is know how the program works.
