i had tried everything, all the timings from several other HZ threads and voltages .. i need to know what BIOS everyone's using for their Ultra-D ??
using 704-2bta BIOS.. i tried 702-1 but it was much worse and can't even 270mhz stable..
anyone has any input ?
below is the most stable i can get..

Im using the FX60test beta (11/14)
Did you try switching the sticks around in the dimms ?
Just out of curiousity, has the IHS been removed on the 170 ?

i noticed everyone with DFI mobos have insanely low temps even with air. Am I doing something wrong with my watercooling?

i think voltages matters a lot.. wat voltages u pumping thru it ?
with 1.45v... at load is 39C... however when i pump 1.55v into it.. it goes as high as 45C...... btw my ambient is onli 25c
so.... any ideas ? or is it just that my sticks aren't fated to do 280

download memtest for windows and use it to test your memory, use A64 tweaker while running memtest to check stablity with different Tref. I like having memtest running 2 tests at the same time. One with 32mb and the other with a big chunk like 512mb. Just test the different Tref and see if you can find one that produces no errors.

how about drive strength ?

270 is great for 2gig kits already. I suggest you max out ur cpu rather than trying to max out ur mem. In the end, cpu speed is what counts the most.

i will probably try some low latency at ddr500 tomoro...

I am also having trouble getting above 270 with stability. I am running 300 X 10 with a 166 divider to give me 3 3 3 6 @ 250mhz 2.6v. The benches are almost the same as if I was running 3 44 8 @ 270 or higher, its just not as sexy.
If you figure out some trick to get your's to start humming, let me know.
Good luck.

Normal drive strength is worse for these sticks, 3/2 worked best for me.
