What happens if you reformat? Does it add another computer?

If I reformat my daily PC and install rosetta is there a file like node.prp I need to keep to keep the stats under the same PC? Or does it just automaticly add another to my stats? Same exact setup just with a RAID array ;)

I reformatted and i just reinstalled, i now have 2 computers listed at the rosetta@home website, i dont know what the node.prp file equivalent on this project is but it doesnt make that big of a difference in my opinion.

Well, when you're at the individual computer's page(under your account on rosetta's site), there is the merge option at the bottom. Though, the two computer's you merge might have to have the same name.

I just ended up having to do that, since I managed to botch a copy of boinc :D

I had to do this also, merge the old computer into the new one and all should be fine.

I don't think name matters, it gives me the option to merge two computers with different names(but identical hardware). Note that it says it will merge old identities with the newest one, hence the remaining identity will be the newest one.
