Hej, is there any way to "update" or roll back dx9.0c to dx8.1 again?

Try DirectX Eradicator:

They write that it should work for WinXP but I couldn't get my dx9.0c uninstalled; the DX Eradicator simply wouldn't run on my XP installation for some reason. But give it a try.

No problem, glad it worked for you. Are you using WinXP Professional with SP2? I couldn't get it to remove my DX9.0C, hmmph.
