Hi
I was gonna test my Asus 7800GT card last night when the temp outside where ~-17c
When i was about to run 3dmark2003 the screen goes black.
So i reboot try stock speed but the same thing happens again.
It seems the card suffers from a very bad cold bug.
Because it worked like a charm when i closed the windows and let it warm up for a while.
I was aiming for 20k 3d03 and perhaps 10k 3d05, @ 19k4 and 9k1 now
with 550/1245 with delta +40mhz
Any tips , is there any bios editing i could do ?
Weird thing is i tried it with @ -9c air before and that worked.
So i am kinda lost now on what to do, any help would be great.

try using a blow dryer to heat it up a bit. are you sure its your video card thats causing the system to not start up?

it took me 650/1370 to hit the scores you're gunning at, but then again i was also using dual core which helps boost the scores a bit.

Ok thanks for your reply.
Seems maybe i am aiming a little high then :D
Have no idea what could cause this if not the graphic card.

I have the same problems. I noticed that card starts to act weird when temp is below 33C because then there are some artifacts, 3dMark freezes and so on.
