Rosetta Team Update

We already are in 70th place which is up 9 from the day before and we did the 13th highest output as well. We have already done more than we did yesterday and the team is growing rapidily.

The Rosetta team page is quite interesting cause it shows everyones individual rigs ... prolly going to have a look who has the fastest and slowest.

I currently have the fastest Rosetta Rig, (i am sure that will not last) it has an average credit of 650.:woot: (cx232 is not far behind)

it is my main rig X2 3800+ @2.81 2 x 512 (2-2-2-5)@233Mhz

ram bandwidth does make a difference in rosetta unlike D2OL because you can achieve higher BMarks if your RAM is faster. becaues of this i am running 2 of my DX's at 213 X 15 instead of 200 X 16

I have a 2.8ghz 165 155mhz 3-3-3-5 :D 579.58 average. I've been gaming :p: Need to build a dedicated watercooled x2 rig... Maybe my mom will be getting a new rig lol!

I have 2 AMD DC rigs crunching Rosetta under DDTUNG for XPC, to repay Scott for his help and to learn a few quick tricks there.

Later on today I'll shift 4 AMD DCs to XS Rosetta. Then some P4s and DXs. Have to test the various optimized clients on the different platforms. I guess I'll have to call myself XS_DDTUNG from now on.:)

...so i shouldve been running rosetta over the past 6 months instead of d2ol....now my mem controller doesn't like high mem speeds, where i used to could do 295 2.5-3-3-6 stable......running at a pitiful 2-3-3-6 @ 210 right now,lol

AMD is supreme in Rosetta.


I've heard it put like this TC is your odometer, RAC is your speedometer.

i think it is not exact. The longer you run Rosetta, the more your RAC will be representative of your true strength. I stopped running Roseeta to come back and run D2OL for a while to help with the slaughter and barbeque.

When I left I had a RAC of roughly 2000. The day I became active again my RAC dropped to like 300 ( guess it averaged in a month of non-activity ). In the last three days it has gone up to over 1900 and is still rising.

RAC means recent average credit, but isn't an exact thing. The last thre days I've averaged over 6,000/day. My RAC ( just looked, is 1923 ). But like I said, it is still rising.

a while ago we had some scriptkiddiesd on the forum running HTML code that made browsers crash and stuff like that and insert worms in security leaks of the VB forums. Since then, out of precaution it was decided to turn off the HTML code for the forums

I'm slowly moving my rigs over ;) Doing some F@H for XS here on my work PC (1.7ghz P4) for a lil bit then it will go over to rosetta.

Yes, I know but ddtung had about 1500 or more before fdc stats updated. Now he has about 2500. I checked some other statssite and there he is on our team with 500 points. Very odd.

DD informed me that he wasn't showing up and I investigated and have found what appears to be a long standing bug I had no idea about. My script accidently did not update the team column except on a change of date (just an omission in an update statement). - So, he would have appeared on the first update tomorrow and still will, but at least now I have fixed that bug so it won't happen again!
