hello my fellow friends :)
just got my system up, now its time for tweaking :)
I have:
Opteron 146 Caybe 0543FMPW
Asus A8N-SLI - Deluxe
512MB Kingston Value PC3200
512MB Kingston HyperX PC3500
Inno 6600GT PCI-Express..
Could some one plz help me with a short guide how to press the juice out of my baby..
HTT/FSB and so on :)

With this setup you are forced to work with T2 and divider on ddr
cause you have value corsair and an asus wich has issues ...
However this may not stop your fun ;)
I suggest starting with this,
HTT 201
HT or LTD frequency X4
pci-e 102
vcore voltage 1.45V
boot into windows and use the following programs to seek your max clocks on that vcore :)
A64 tweaker//ddr divider option if needed
Clockgen ---to change youre cpu frequency and multiplier

just experement in the bios and don't go above 1.6vcore on air imo.
and with your mem I would just do 2.5 cas & 2.85 vcore and then go higher and higher and when your mem ain't stable anymore just go to cas 3.

Why 102MHz for PCI-e? Are you seeing performance gains?
Anyway...just make sure HTT x HT <= 1000

Got me a Big Typhoon, now im ready hehe.
Could someone plz help me by OC my Ram so there will be greater then 166MHz :S
My OC until now:
FSB = 250
HT = x4
CPU Multiplier = x10
Vcore = 1.45V
Ram = Auto (Run Only166-200MHz) Its too low help :)

I'd start working on your ram settings now. Here is my 24/7 settings with 3000 cpu and 250 ram 6600gt@550/1100. I did the SPI runs lastnite out of boredom at these settings.

my score is lower then yours could it be my Memory which are the BIG ISSUE? I cant run Stable anymore with 3GHz?

Is it because of my Ram my Scores are lower than yours, we almost have the same system.
Yeah i think it's your ram speed and timings holding your overall speed up. I really don't have any suggestions other than getting 2x512 or 2x1024 sets but if your happy with things as they are now run it that way. I didn't notice at first that you had 4 256mb or 2 512's mismatched sticks or i wouldn't have showed mine for comparison. If it does the job i wouldn't get too worried about final scores.

The problem is that I cant tune my ram they sux, and with prime my CPU is only stable for max 20. min. cant dig it :(
aslong as you have a 0543 cpu, to be stable at 3Ghz on air, you should set Vcore at least 1.55V and you must keep youre temp as low as possible :fact: , try giving it a shot of outside-air and maybe you can prime at 3G.

I cant get it stable in 3GHz it fail Prime, only for 20 min :(

try setting your mem low to avoid any errors memory-related and keep the cpu at 3Ghz, then run the test, you must be sure that those errors arent cpu-related, you must also keep the cpu cool, dont let your mobo infotool show you more than 40°C
