windows BSODS, and then you boot back up, and when checking the details of the bsod, it includes windows "minidump.dmp" file?

minidump is a dump of memory contents that was saved for debugging purposes if you are a programmer... if you're not, then it will be of no use to you and can be tossed away.

you can change the settings for this (or disable it completely) in the System control panel under

Advanced->
Startup and Recovery ->
Settings ->
Write debugging information ->
set to "NONE"
