Not bad overclocker at all!!
costa rica..
seems to be running stably at 3831mhz on stock prescott cooler with 1.38 volts!
is this good?
Corsair value ram seems to be doing quite well too
rated pc4200
tested up to 620mhz before it crashed...
i reckon with a half decent cpu cooler and some cooler air..
could do air cooled 4 ghz ^^
might try some super pi for the sake of it later...but i'm not taking this too seriously....rubbishy ram etc...not really going to get particularly far...

hmm...
it craps out at 3.95 instantly...
What's a safe voltage for these guys on a stock cooler? :P
infact...what's the default rofl.
running dual prime 95's btw as testing.

Mines go to 4Ghz at stock vcore, good aircooling. SL7Z9 China. Top is 4.20Ghz for both using air. Nice CPUs at all. :toast:

If your CPU has 2mb cahce, then this is it:
http://processorfinder.intel.com/scripts/details.asp?sSpec=SL7Z9&ProcFam=483&PkgType=ALL&SysBusSpd=ALL&CorSpd=ALL
If not, its one of the skt 775 3ghz chips.

Looks like the stock vcore is 1.4. get that up to 1.45 and 4ghz should be no prob. What temps?

reports about 65 degrees by mobo sensors with dual prime 95, 1.45v 3.90ghz..the stock heatsink...sucks ass...it's pure aluminium and weighs nothing
Super pi got 33 seconds.
i might try for something like 4.1 ghz

right
some success
opened window...got rid of wax pad..replaced with AS5
oc'ed to about 4.1 ghz...did super pi
here's a screen shot.
CPUZ validated...but..
for some reason...some bug...CPU Z when CPU not under load would apparently switch to a 14x multiplier... this CPU is 15x multiplier :stick: so it validated as about 3.8 ghz...instead of 4.1
