anyone else having this problem??

i cannot get dimes to run continually with windows server 2003 enterprise. what is the name of the file that is running for dimes that i look for in task manager -> processes?

it runs for like 5 minutes then the icon in the corner goes away and i tihnk it shuts down, but i want to be sure and check the file that is for it.

From what I remember you need to delete the files in the folders in here.

C:\Program Files\DIMES\Agent\Classes\Base\Outgoing

I had this for a while apparently its work getting stuck or something. Give it a reboot straight after and u should be ok. I have had 1 rig that didnt respond from this but the others did.

Nothing, cant access it anymore at the moment, it hadnt been rebooted since the start of october and I have no physical access to it any more.

there are two folders in that path. i deleted the files in those folders, and rebooted. it started up, but quit again after 30 min. i checked, and the agent just remade the files i deleted. am i supposed to delete the folders too? hmmm, this sucks. thanks for the help though

I'm having the same problems as you have, but on 3 of the 5 rigs I installed the client.
I tried the same thing on several occasions, but it quits after 30 min.
And I'm not planning on reinstalling XP on the 3 rigs just to get this damn' thing running.
Because of this whole crap, I'm thinking about quiting this project.

Are you sure the client isn't running when the icon disappears? I remember having the icon vanish on my wife's rig but it was still producing. Don't know how or why but that stopped after a Java update a while ago. It's funny... I liked it better without the icon because my wife and son had no chance of closing DIMES then. ;)

Nope, it isn't.
For some strange reason, it shuts down after about 30 minutes.
The rigs were running fine from the first time I installed Dimes.
My P4 rig was having this problem for over 1 month ago (posted about it in another thread), and now, 2 other rigs are having the same problem.
Nothing was changed to the rigs, no software added, no updates.

I tried by uninstalling everything an reinstalling dimes again, but no luck. Still shuts down after 30 minutes. I searched on their forums, but haven't found a solution for it.
