Hi,
I am thinking about building a dual xeon rig for D2OL. I ve found a lot of cheap stuff on ebay, but I havent looked into Intel cpus for quite a while now...
What can I expect from a Xeon 1.8Ghz?? Can they be oced at all with a Intel chipset based board?

Or should I get a whole dif system?

Check our D2OL section.
Jeff wrote a nice guide on which cpu's to buy.
The 1.6 and 2.4 LV (Low Voltage) models are very good clockers, although pretty hard to find.
My dual 1.6 has been running at 3050Mhz for over 9 months now, no probs.

Also, check out 2.4 533fsb Xeons with M0 stepping. I had a pair about a year ago that did 3.5ghz. Stupid me, I sold them.
