is it dangerous to put 1.55v on that chipset??
now hes set on 1.5v.

i dunno if increassing the voltage will help but sometimes the whole computer freeze for like 1sec... like when burning ripping and gaming at the same time, the whole computer freeze for like 1sec lol...
do some1 know what makes this and if increassing the voltage will help

Sounds more like maybe a proc or mem issue, but I put a 40mm fan on the stock northbridge heatsink and have pretty much been running 1.85V to it for like 8 months...I don't think 1.55V is going to hurt it (or help your problem).

The system your talking about qgshadow is in your signature ?

I would definately up the voltage a notch on the NB for that from 1.55 to 1.6. and how is the FSB v. ?

i dont have a fan directly on it but....
my case is an antec TX1050B so i have 80mm fan on the fannel whos shooting directly on the video card and close to the northbridge heatsink and i have my 114cfm panaflow close the the heatsink

257fsb does'nt tell anyone the fsb voltage. But now in your signature it says 270fsb. The problem occured at 257fsb ? if so, what is the voltage set to in bios for fsb ? :)

I've reached 375fsb on P5WD2 Premium with stock NB_HeatSink :D
370fsb pi_1m benchable, 366fsb 24/7 stable

MCH for FSB/RAM/PCIE
FSB for FSB
ICH no need , auto is okay

for ur refference, my P5WD2 Premium

MCH 1.65
FSB 1.4
FSB=366 stable
PCIE=133
============

MCH 1.65
FSB 1.5
FSB=370 pi_1m
=375 screen shot
PCIE=133
=================

ur CPUCLK must be higher than 3.4ghz(initial clk) or ES cpu , then you can see LockFree.
C1E is for N0 step and the after, or E0 step Retail version P4

You won't see "cpu lockfree" unless you are running a 560, 570 or 660, 670 cpu.
C1 is in "Enhanced C1 control" under Cpu config.
Read the manual that came with the mobo. :rolleyes: It does help sometimes. ;)
